Do you need to pivot?
Some pivots are repositioning the product you already have; some pivots involve abandoning the product you’re worked on for years and developing something else.
This month I wrote about pivots for The New Stack, after chatting with Jon Nordmark of Iterate.ai and Ian Tien of Mattermost — both of whom shared their very different pivot stories. There’s some actionable advice for:
Spotting a situation where you might need/want to pivot
