The problem with highlighting the ‘open source’ in your commercial products’ positioning is that open source = free (as in beer) to most people. That’s not what you want them to think! You want them to pay you money, so you want to anchor their price expectations high from the very beginning. (PS I just choose ingress controller randomly, you could substitute anything that could be open source).
