You probably know the stats: Most startups fail. You’ve probably also already experienced a rollercoaster of high highs and low lows in your entrepreneurial journey.
This month in my monthly column for The New Stack, I wrote about how to spot red flags that your startup is heading in the wrong direction. One of the questions I had for the investors and entrepreneurs I spoke with was how to tell the difference between a normal ‘low’ and a red flag of trouble. Here’s where things got sobering: it’s really, really hard to tell the difference, especially for the founders in the thick of things.
